No comments August 6th, 2010

I’ve always wanted to be a cop, but lately I’ve been having some serious doubts about my upcoming test. The cops that I sought out in my town for help in what I should expect on the exam would give me the cold shoulder. I started to believe there were no test out there for people like me.

No comments August 1st, 2010

Recently, people in China has suffered a terrible flood, which has brought great damage to the local people. The flood began in July, and the following are some of the pictures of it.

The Chinese People’s Liberation Army alway play a very important role in flood rescue. For decades Chinese People’s Liberation Army is one of the best armies in the world.Even the big soilder of  USA  who would save Chinese people can not fight with it ! Unfortunately  it is peace time where  they have not war to fight .But they never less of job !So do this time.
Whenever and wherever you turn on the TV now, you must watch the information concerned the flood. Our home is being destroyed, our property is losting, even some people’s life is being deprived by this flood. Just in this serious and key moment, our familiar form — The Chinese People’s Liberation Army bring us the hope againg and again. From the news, we can know that many PLA warrior give their life for the purpose of saving our lifes, they are not afraid of the dangerous situation they are facing, enter into the flood againg and againg. They treat every people as they families. I believe that all the people have already seen them as the most respect people in their heart. Yes, they use their shoulder supporting our happy life, they give our life back with their blood. Then, what we can do in return? The answer is that showing our most respect to our most respect people—-The Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

Though we know that the local government has taken some efficient measures to save the people there and the public properties, we should reflect about our behaviors. What have we done in the past decades? Why are there more and more disasters in these years? And what are the courses?

We’ve done too bad to the environment, and now the environment is fighting back to warn we human beings. If we don’t recognize what is happening and take immediate actions to control the situation, it is hard to imagine how horrible the world will be in the coming future.

What questions should jobseekers ask in an interview

No comments July 27th, 2010

Frequent interviewer last question is: “Do you have any questions for me?” No problem with the candidates to show a lack of initiative, gives people the impression that: they have little interest in the position. Differentiated not a lazy job, ask!

Your questions ready. Related to the Company or its achievements / challenges your company (research shows that further impress the interviewer). Do not ask any questions that you have not completed your research company.

Do not ask you, such as “When I pay to become qualified?” Or “how long I was a performance appraisal you?” Not money. (You can do about it after they gave you the job.)

In addition to specific issues, based on the development of your company, here are some samples of common problems:

Which do you like best about the work here?

What is certain is that she is for the company. Some organizations, especially public institutions, has a staff interview panel with other agencies.

Is there anything I mentioned That makes you think I am not the best candidate for this job?

If they really troubled by what they referred to you, such as the lack of specific experience, which give you one final effort to change their views. If you think you might be a disadvantage, you should be prepared in advance to answer those shortcomings. For example, “I know I have limited experience in this field, but I lack the experience to make up for my specific passion and Ke Wang out ahead. I learn quickly, I will be more effort than any one of the top manufacturers your team. ”

When you want your final decision?

Make sure to ask that! If you do not give the impression: You are not interested, you need to know when to follow up.

Who Are Responsible for Story-Fabricating in China?

No comments July 22nd, 2010

In a recent survey aimed at researching on how many students have told lies or fabricated stories in their composition assignments in order to get high scores when they were attending primary or middle schools, more than third of 2639 students confess that they used to adopt one of them. According to the survey, it can be easily concluded that either telling lies or fabricating stories is very popular among Chinese students. To get a high score, making stories is apparently not a good example students should follow; but is that really a bad thing for students’ ability of creativity? Who should be responsible for the tragedy of score-targeted learning? This following essay will try to carry a research on the reasons for the popularity of story-making among Chinese students.

Before analysis on the probable reasons for the phenomenon, people have to be clear of two relationships in composition learning. The first one is the relation between output and input. The “input” means what a student has learnt from daily study, including both of those knowledge acquired from teachers and witnessing from society around them; while the “output” means things which a student is able to use in dealing with problems. Only when students are equipped with a certain quantity of “input” can they make use of them freely in their “output”. Therefore, the “input” founds the basic for the “output”. Strangely, most people in China have understood the relationship in an opposite direction. Either teachers or students, or parents, they all ignored the role of “input” playing in students’ composition learning, as a result of strongly requiring students’ “output”. Namely, students are always expected to write as much as possible but without reading stories or collecting materials from surroundings in an equivalent degree. Much worse, they are forced to take a variety of interest classes in their spare time instead, which results in not only lacking of certain materials but also interest in composition writing. Therefore, they have to rely on fabricating stories to appeal to parents and teachers with a relatively higher score.

Another relation is between aim and means. As known for everyone, people have to rely on proper means in the process of achieving their ultimate aims. However, the premise is that they ought to make it clear of their aim. Then, they can make a clearer analysis on deciding on efforts to achieve their goals. For Chinese students, getting scores as high as possible is often deemed as the ultimate goal of their learning; for only a higher score can make it possible to attend a better school. Deeply, this is owing to the shortcomings of the existing education system. Making a story itself is a reflection of students’ ability of creativity and imagination. What either teachers or parents should do is to try to explore the genius deep in students but not forbid for the excuse of wasting time in achieving in a higher score. Apart from the system, the tradition of pursuing for the ultimate product rather than exploration into inner ability plays a significant role in the misunderstanding of the relationship. The whole society all admires the growth of GDP every year, thus creating an atmosphere of rapidly catching up with the other developed countries in the world. It is the radical attitude that forces teachers and parents to instill the concept of pursuing aims into students’ learning process.

From all have discussed above, it can be concluded: it is because of misunderstanding of the two relationships between input and output as well as between aim and means in parents and teachers that makes it possible for students’ inclination to tell lies or making stories in their composition assignment. Not only the existing education system, the entire society is responsible for those promising future’s lack of loyalty.

How to build Teamwork Spirit in your job

No comments July 20th, 2010

Now, my four-year of university life is over. Time flies! While, even now, the memory of four years is still very clear.

The most unforgetable thing during this period is the competition of class chorus. When we get the news that our school of English is going to hold a class chorus competition in two weeks, we are suprised, excited, and a little puzzled. We are not specialized in singing songs, especially chorus. it’s really hard for us to prepare for the big competition in such a short time. Moreover, we have to go on normal routine of studying, so we couldn’ t put all our heart and time on this event.

But, thanks to this competition, I have felt the since utmost strongest spirit of teamwork. We worked together to think up of which song to choose; the arrangement of practice. In the two weeks before the competition night, every classmate of mine are trying to put aside other things to take part in practice.

The song we choose is the ” i will follow him” from the classic move “Sister Act”. We all think that since we are English majors, we should sing an English song, not chinese one as usual. This is the idea put forward by 25 of us.

As this song is a chorus, it comprises three scales of note, very new and difficult for our amateur to practice. However, thanks to two classmates who have some expertise in singing, 25 of us are arranged into three groups, each one of which focused on low key, middle key and high key respectively.

We have arguments, disagreements, laugh, happiness and all other mixed feellings. Though the begining is very perplexing and hard, we overcame it together. In the last day before the defining day, we all are pleased with the result of our efforts; we even couldn’t believe that we could sing the song so beautiful and much like the original one.

Of course, we’ve got a satisfying prize, of which we are very proud.

Moreover, we are proud of ourselves; proud of the teamwork spirit.

Not easy to get a part time job in China

No comments July 20th, 2010

Those days i am busy with finding a part-time job,i thought i would be easy, but unfortually it tures out so hard to find one,i even be cheated by some agencies,it’s the most horrible thing i feel, how could it be?Maybe i am still so young, many social issuse have no access to.
Why it’s so hard to find a part-time job?I think there are several reasons as follows.Firstly,it’s part-time job, seldom companys ,angenies or supermakets need part-time job workers, espesially if you go there in person, they virtually believe you, they perfer to trust the middle agencies.Secondly,i am still students now, most of the time they don’t trust students still in college,we have no experience, but who has experience with birth, can you?And thirdly it’s my personal reason,i want to stay in campus to prepare for my BEC test and maybe do some reading invovled in management, i want to further my stduy in management project two years later.so if stay in campus,it brings in some retraints.Maybe it’s all these reasons made me hard to find a part-time job.
I really try my best ,search from the Internet, and have interviews in many places, finally i am still nowhere, how miserable!
